Note to Sandra Bullock:
Congrats on your big Golden Globe win! It must feel nice to finally get some awards-show love after all of these years. I loved you in The Blindside, and I loved your southern wife wardrobe in the movie as well. I don't know if I could ever pull off such a polished and preppy look, but it looked fabulous on you.
Now on to your Golden Globes gown... there are a few things I loved. I love this color on you. Purple is a great color on brunettes with dark eyes. I also love the construction of the fitted bodice. Bottega Veneta's creation treated your top half well. My problem comes in on the skirt. The iridescent fabric with the pinkish underskirt, reminds me too much of a prom dress or a little girl's princess dress up gown. That was hard for me to say, because I really like you. Despite my opinions of fabric choice, you truly looked beautiful.

Couldn't agree with you more on the color- it looked amazing on her. Regarding the iridescent bottom, I will admit I was a little shocked because I wasn't really expecting it...but, I don't really hate it??
The color's rad, and I like that she did something different, but I'm pretty sure we both know where she picked it up ...
