Casual Couple

Note to Jake and Reese:
(Apparently I am on a first name basis with them, but really I just didn't want to look up how to spell his last name.) I love your casual ensembles! Really, I appreciate you showing that you can look casual and like you are just out running errands without a single item from Ed Hardy or Juicy. These basic pieces look effortlessly cool, kind of like your relationship. You two are rapidly climbing to the top of my list of favorite (and fashionable) celebrity couples. Brangelina better watch their backs!

Note to Readers:
Please don't think I am the type of person that is totally done up from head to toe whenever I leave the house. I am far from, Posh-like perfection. Honestly, my feet hurt if I wear heels all day, and sometimes wearing form fitting clothing makes me uncomfortable (especially if I have just eaten). This is why I appreciate when people wear clothing that looks casual and comfortable, but also is not frumpy or trashy. Please notice the use of accessories in pulling together Reese and Jake's casual looks. Comfort and fashion do not necessarily have to be mutually exclusive.

Am I Getting Old?

Note to Readers:
I know I am about a week late on this post, but am I the only one that found it awkward that Miley Cyrus performed with a stripper pole at the Teen Choice Awards? I mean come on, she is 16 years old, was wearing SHORT shorts, had her bra showing, and was POLE DANCING? Her parents were shown giving her a standing ovation at the end of her song. There is something wrong with this picture right? Or am I getting old?

Note to Miley:
I know it is cool to act like a grown up sometimes, but you are still a teenager. It is a little young to have visible lingerie and stripper poles. Also, when you are photographed either smile or don't. You aren't an Olsen twin.

Launderette

Note to Readers:
My sweet friends started this line, and I am LOVING it. Launderette is pretty new, but the more successful they get, the more fabulous dresses they can start producing. I am dying to see what else is in store, so let's start buying! I like that the products have a retro feel without looking dated or like a costume. Please visit Launderette here.

Note to Keith and Leslie:
You both have such an innate sense of style and I love that now you are helping consumers look as cool as you! I am expecting big things from you two.

This is taking it too far...

Note to Diane Kruger:
Usually I like your red carpet choices. Remember when I raved about you here? You wear clothing well and you have a unique sense of style. Not Lady Gaga unique, but unique in a way that you will wear fashion forward pieces from the top designers without a misstep. Except for this Versace beaded number. I guess you can't be right all the time.

Note to Readers:
There are a few things I love and one of them is a TASTEFUL backless dress. I think a woman showing a toned back can be so much more sexy than a plunging neckline. I thought it went without saying that if you can see the wearer's crack, the dress has gone too far. Apparently not.
